  1. A mix between Scholes and Veron' Man Utd 3-0 Watford

    1. Getty ImagesCopyright: Getty Images Now then what about this for a comparison....?Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reckons that new signing Bruno Fernandes is a cross between former Old Trafford midfielders Paul Scholes and Juan Sebastian Veron.England international Scholes was a United academy graduate and scored 155 goals in 716 matches. While Argentine Veron, signed for £28m in 2001 and made 82 appearances. Both were team-mates of former striker Solskjaer during the Norwegian's 11 years at the club under Sir Alex Ferguson."He felt like a presence in the group from the first minute, a bit of a mix between Scholes and Veron - the temperament of Veron and a lot of the quality of Scholesy," said Solskjaer. No pressure there eh Bruno!

"It's right that big teams like him. Hopefully we can convince him this is right place to be."I think it's been tough for him because he has big expectations. 42. It's a little congested behind Chelsea now.You would still have to fancy Frank Lampard's side to finish fourth but Manchester United are among a clutch of teams who may have other ideas about that.

  61. Good morning

  62. Well what another great weekend of Premier League action. The odd smattering of brilliance, a bit of VAR controversy and some big results at both ends of the table.I’ll be honest I thought Chelsea had fourth spot sewn up a few weeks back but things are looking a tad tighter after Manchester United, Wolves and Arsenal all won on Sunday.
